Bundle Description

This two-part NARM demonstration and debrief series features NARM instructor Ralf Marzen working with Verena, a client exploring relational insecurity, early trauma, and the longing for authentic connection. In the first session, Verena shares the emotional intensity of navigating a potential breakup, expressing a deep desire to feel seen, safe, and valued in her relationships. As she examines the internal conflict between her longing for closeness and her fear of vulnerability, Ralf gently supports Verena in directing her focus to be more inward—moving further away from focusing on the external situation and closer toward her own inner emotional dynamics. Through this process, Verena begins to recognize patterns rooted in earlier life experiences and starts accessing her internal resources with greater clarity and self-compassion.

In the second session, Verena deepens her exploration, connecting her present-day relationship triggers to early developmental trauma, including preverbal trauma in her infancy. She reflects on feelings of being misunderstood, unworthy, and emotionally unsafe—insights that reveal long-held survival strategies still shaping her adult relational experiences. With Ralf’s support, Verena learns to slow down, attune to her body, and access a more grounded sense of self. Across both sessions, she moves from reactivity to agency, discovering new possibilities for healing, emotional resilience, and connection to her authentic self.
