In this second NARM demonstration session with Verena and NARM instructor Ralf Marzen, Verena explores feelings of insecurity and memories/sensations of trauma related to both her current relationship and her early life experience in an incubator. She expresses a longing for stability, love, and a deeper sense of self-worth. Her relational challenges trigger her unresolved emotional wounds, leading her to feel misunderstood and mistreated, which reinforces her adaptive survival strategies.

Ralf supports Verena by gently guiding her attention inward, helping her connect with her body's responses and her emotional states. Rather than solely analyzing Verena's external relationship dynamics, Ralf focuses the session on fostering Verena’s agency and sense of empowerment. As she becomes more curious about what lies beyond her wounding, Verena begins to explore a more stable connection with herself, touching on core themes of agency, trauma healing, and the pursuit of the authentic self.
